soyface: Being a 5’ 2” person who often but not always gets read as a guy in public is something that has its plusses and minuses. I don’t mind being shorter than most everybody. I don’t mind being at armpit level when I stand up on the bus (most of the time). One hard thing that I do mind… I  am 5’5”. Being short and male often leaves people treating you rather strangely....
